The food garden at our school is a place were students can grow organic vegetables. There is an elective which is called gardening, In our video you will see that we interviewed some students from the gardening elective. In our garden we have peppers, watermelon, basil, tomatoes, mint, and much more creating your own edible garden can be a fun rewarding experience if you have the space. You can make your own garden boxes, as shown in the photos. If you don't have a backyard or the space you can still DIY your own garden. For example, you can grow strawberries in a shoe hanger,in a boot. You can also grow plants in a container or with a cloth hanger such as a wooly pocket. It is important to grow your own garden because growing your own garden provides more nutrients in your fruits and vegetables. Also if you don't take care of a garden for example be sure to feed and water your pants because can die.
Our garden mostly has tomatoes and the students keep growing them!
